I've been in the real estate business for 30 years and this was the most thorough report I have received. They missed a couple very small items but caught some very important big ones that were not easy to see.
Horizon Home Inspectors were impressive at each stage: initial contact, determining the goal and scale of the inspection (in our case, owners assessing the home's condition in preparation for sale), prompt scheduling, and the detail of the inspection documented with photos. The range of reactions, not simply a call for needed repair but also for evaluation by a specialist, left welcome room for discussion. Findings in our case validated our own task list and long-monitored problems yet they opened areas of concern that we were happy to discover now. This report and our followup documentation will be made available to any serious buyer. Given the complexity, site and age of the property, I consider the price well set and the result authoritative.
